Continuing on with my time with the ICT, I have continued to push the boundaries of what this bike is capable of. Moving away from riding along single track, I have ended up to my hubs in mud; lifted the hefty bike 100+ times over downed trees; pushed up a rutted out, sloppy muddy, fall line horse trail; and showed my kids how to jump it off our back porch:
It’s a cool bike.
However… I do feel that a second wheelset is in order. 26×4.8″ is perfect when floatation is absolutely necessary, but I think a 29+ wheelset would make this bike shine on single track.
Might have to sell something to make that happen…
