To say that Airborne Bicycles has been busy over the past few years would be an understatement. After making a name for themselves with their popular, and affordable Goblin 29er, the new models kept on rolling out. Next, a dual suspension 29er, the HobGoblin, and now, the newest bike: The Pathogen.
Available as a pre-order frame only option at the moment, the 8″ travel Pathogen frame is quite the downhill/freeride rig. The aluminum single pivot frame comes equipped with an X Fusion rear shock, with three different spring rates to fine tune your suspension, and a tapered head tube with a FSA Orbit headset. All for the price of $1599.
This frame is a little higher priced than what I am used to from Airborne, but compared to other brands, this is a deal. I am not too gravity oriented, but this frame looks like a winner to me. I am pumped to see Airborne doing so well, well done guys!
